Family Campground & Water-Play Resort · Quarryville, PA
A heavily activity-driven family campground on 63 wooded acres in Quarryville, built around water play and a packed daily schedule. It's the farthest of the campgrounds we recommend — about an hour and ten minutes from us — and the most kid-focused, with tent and RV sites plus a wide range of cabins.

Our take This is the longest haul of the campgrounds we recommend — roughly an hour and ten minutes of towing each way. Since we do RV and hitch work too, we know a long pull on PA-283 and US-222 can shake things loose, so if the rig feels off coming or going, we're an easy stop down I-81 at Exit 80 in Grantville, about 12 minutes north of Hershey.
The draw here is the water zone: a water playground with blasters, cannons, and kids' slides, plus two swimming pools, all part of a larger play area that also has a pedal-kart track. Add laser tag in the woods, mini golf, jumping pillows, and a gem-mine activity, and the place leans far more toward planned recreation than quiet, rustic camping. The 63 acres also adjoin a roughly 100-acre county park, so there's room to stretch your legs beyond the resort itself.
Lodging covers the full spread. There are tent sites and RV sites (pull-thru, back-in, and buddy setups), plus a long list of cabins — the park advertises 14 cabin types, with some large enough to sleep good-sized groups and many offering full bathrooms and kitchens. Days run on a posted activity schedule with arts and crafts, organized games, and themed weekends through the season, so it's a good fit for families who want their kids busy rather than a place to unplug.
