Craft Distillery & Restaurant · Hershey, PA
Hidden Still Spirits is an award-winning craft distillery and full restaurant in a former Hershey Company building just off West Chocolate Avenue — bourbon and spirits distilled on site, a from-scratch kitchen, Sunday brunch, and a pet-friendly patio, minutes from Hersheypark.

Our take A working distillery with a real kitchen is a rare thing this close to Hersheypark — we send people here when they want a sit-down dinner with something made on the premises, and it's an easy pairing with axe throwing next door. About 15 minutes from our shop at I-81 Exit 80.
Hidden Still Spirits started in downtown Lebanon and grew into its Hershey home when it took over an old Hershey Company facility at 505 W Chocolate Avenue, set back behind the street near Stumpy's Hatchet House. It's a true grain-to-glass operation: they distill their own bourbon and spirits — including their David E. line — on site, and the restaurant built around the distillery serves lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch rather than just running a tasting counter. The room is big and industrial-warm, with a long bar, exposed ceilings, and the still as part of the backdrop, so you're eating and drinking inside a working distillery.
The spirits have earned real hardware — their Sweet Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter Rum took gold at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition — and the bar leans on house-made cocktails alongside the food menu. They run behind-the-scenes distillery tours, keep a pet-friendly patio, post happy hours, and offer a standing discount for seniors, healthcare workers, first responders, and military with ID. One scheduling quirk worth knowing: Tuesdays are typically retail and bottle sales only, with the full kitchen running the rest of the week, so check the day before you plan dinner.
As of our last check the kitchen ran Monday and Wednesday–Thursday 11 AM–10 PM, Friday–Saturday 11 AM–11 PM, and Sunday noon–9 PM (brunch noon–2), with Tuesday limited to retail and bottle sales (11 AM–5 PM). Hours and brunch times shift, so check hiddenstillspirits.com or call before a special trip.

Yes. Hidden Still is a working craft distillery that makes its own bourbon and spirits on site, including its David E. line, and the restaurant is built around the distillery. One of its rums won gold at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Both. Beyond house-distilled spirits and cocktails, there's a from-scratch kitchen serving lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch, so it works as a sit-down meal, not just a tasting room. The patio is pet-friendly too.
They offer behind-the-scenes distillery tours in addition to the restaurant and bar. Tour availability and times vary, so it's best to check their website or call ahead to confirm and book before you visit.
Tuesday is typically retail and bottle sales only, with the full kitchen and bar running the rest of the week. If you're planning to eat, aim for Monday or Wednesday onward, and double-check current hours before you go.
Hidden Still sits in the same rear stretch of West Chocolate Avenue as a couple of our other downtown-Hershey picks:
Indoor axe throwing right next door in the same former-warehouse stretch — dinner and hatchets in one stop.
A 90s video-game-themed brewery up the same street if you want a beer after.
The Hershey classics are only minutes away in downtown.
